Please see the attached message:

Hello parents and players,

Exeter-Seaforth Ringette Association met tonight, virtually, to discuss our 2020-2021 season and have a few points to mention to our parents and players.

Executive members and coaching volunteers are still needed. All of the Executive positions are listed on the website and their descriptions have been attached to this email. Please let me know by June 5th if you have an interest in any Executive position. We could use you!

We are looking for a on-ice Learn to Skate coach/parent volunteer to work with Michele this year so please let me know if you would be interested. Your time will go towards your volunteer/bond requirements

Register ASAP so we can have numbers to make teams for the fall, the registration can be found at:

Late fees for registration will be waived for the 2020-2021 season.

For those who have already provided cheques for next season, we will not be cashing your cheques until we know what the season will look like. We will contact you prior to cashing them.

We have all had to deal with the COVID crisis and the Exeter-Seaforth Ringette Association understands that this has been harder on some families than others. That said, when the time comes to pay for the season, we will help families struggling financially to make sure their child is able to play. We will work with families to delay payments or direct parents to community organizations that financially support youth in sport. We're are all in this together and do not want to see any child unable to play due to financial hardships.

We are looking at having our AGM in the fall, prior to the start of the season. To encourage parents and players to attend the AGM we will be awarding 3 free registrations to those in attendance. The player and parent/guardian must be present to win. One player from each division, U12, U16 and U19 teams, will win.

Please help us with promoting our sport!! Our Facebook team would love to post pictures of your child playing Ringette so please send pictures or videos to[email protected]to help us showcase the great athletes and teams we have within our association. Check out our Facebook page for updates.

There are many unknowns going forward into next season. We won't know exactly how our season will look or when it will start. What we do know is that we have a great organization with amazing families and we do not want to lose the momentum we had at the end of last season. We look forward to seeing everyone on the ice this fall and remember, we are always looking for more players to join us. Go Explosion!!!

Have a great summer,

Julie Towton
